Meet the Team

Actively engaged in the real estate market since 1969, William, along with his wife Robin Mote, built a multi-office residential real estate brokerage that consistently held the position of top producing agency in its market. After years of success in the southwest Dallas market, he sold the agency to a national company in 1985. In 1987 William opened Mote and Associates, a commercial real estate brokerage engaged in commercial real estate sales and leasing, property management and the development of office, retail and industrial properties. William Mote was the founding director of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, served ten years as a director of the Greater Dallas Association of Realtors and chaired most of that organization’s major committees, and was elected to the Texas Association of Realtors board of directors for six years. His civic activities include been past president of the Duncanville Jaycees, past president of the Duncanville Chamber of Commerce and served that organization as a director from 1972 to 1984 and again in 2002, director of Oak Cliff YMCA, member of the Duncanville Planning and Zoning Commission for six years and the Cedar Hill Planning and Zoning Commission for one year, original director of the Thorntree Country Club and served on the board of First National Bank of Duncanville (later became Texas American Bank) from 1977 to 1989, and lastly, he served as the director of Mainbank in 2002. William graduated in 1964 from Texas Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Education. He has been married since 1966 to Robin Mote and they share two sons, Clay Mote and Chad Mote.

Sarah R. Mitchell has been serving the Southwest Dallas real estate community for more than 16 years. Born and raised in the DFW Metroplex, she started her career selling residential real estate for Ebby Halliday Realtors. Quickly she discovered that she was drawn to commercial real estate and had a passion for serving business owners. She began working for Mote and Associates in 2008 and is now an Associate Broker. She enjoys serving her clients and has extensive experience selling industrial, office, and retail real estate. As the Assistant Property Manager she has gained invaluable experience overseeing the day-to-day operations of commercial property management, tenant relations, and finances. With a commitment to serving the community and contributing to its forward progress, Sarah completed The Leadership Southwest Class of 2011 and served as a board member for the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce for six years. She is currently an ongoing member of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, and an active member in the Duncanville, Cedar Hill, DeSoto, and Lancaster Chambers of Commerce. She and her husband, Charles, have two children, Addison and Charles IV. They enjoy spending time with family, friends and their church family. In her personal time, Sarah enjoys keeping active and plays with her church softball league, and loves to go camping, boating, hiking, hunting and fishing.

Coming from an extensive background in luxury retail sales, Justin joined Mote in 2012 as an admin assistant. His responsibilities included shadowing and assisting the brokers, handling all property and brand marketing, and assisting with property management tasks. After just a short while of working closely with Bill and Sarah, Justin knew he wanted to join the team as an agent, so he switched his major and obtained his real estate license. Because he started off at the front lines, Justin truly knows every detail needed to negotiate and close a transaction. After Justin became an agent with Mote, he quickly proved to be an expert in our market and profession. Justin is a member of the local CCIM chapter, Young Professionals of Cedar Hill, Dallas Junior Chamber, and Dallas Young Professionals. In his personal time, Justin enjoys doing anything that keeps him active, including distance running with Irving Running Club, indoor rock climbing, and exploring state parks. Alternatively, he can be found cooling off on a brewery patio enjoying a cold one with the company of his friends and their pups.

Monica is a long time resident of Duncanville and has been employed with Mote & Associates for fifteen years. She has contributed with her professional skills and knowledge by applying her 32 years of bookkeeping experience. She attended Durham Business College in El Paso, Texas for two years. While accounting was her priority, she followed additional courses in the taxes arena, which proved to be very successful. Monica had three "Mentors" in the accounting field: Two Certified Public Accountants and One Full Charge Bookkeeper, and they were just as helpful due to "hands on" experience. Creating data forms, spreadsheets and documents are an added feature in her field. Her years of experience have truly been beneficial to the company. She has acquired great skills and her qualifications have proven her ability to analyze information, deal with complexity, report research results, and be detail oriented. Monica likes to read, enjoys gardening and loves animals.
